The subject of WP4 is to establish a platform for the integration of sustainability assessment
tools. The platform will utilize existing software applications and services, as well as key com-
ponents already available with the project partners. It will provide shipyards and ship operators
with better decision-making support for sustainable maritime transport.
The work has started within Task 4.3. Sustainability assessments will effectively be executed
based on data analytics followed by the derivation of actions for improvements to establish
manageable PDCA procedures.
The activities within the Task 4.3 are:
- Integrate PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) procedures, streamlining the entire process
- Leverage an existing, configurable dashboard framework to ensure the Dashboard is
perfectly tailored to the requirements of the system - Adapt various pre-existing applications to seamlessly work with the platform, leveraging
the functionality of the Dashboard
First actions have started on the following topics:
- Shipyard Asset Modelling
- Catalogue Management
- LCA Tools
- Dashboard
Finally, this Task will result in a dashboard for controlling and visualizing data provided by inte-
grated tools and stored by the platform’s services.
WP4 will be carried out in close exchange with WP2 and WP3 to determine and validate data and
functional requirements. It will transfer results to WP5 for demonstration case preparations and
real-world validation to demonstrate the viability of the approach.
