Inter-disciplinarity: integration of expertise & methods across EcoShipYard disciplines

International documentation on shipyard-strategies (EU, USA, AU, Korea, China) and several background projects will provide input to ECOSHIPYARD.

The aim is to identify the needs of the shipyard’s infrastructure, and end-users who will have key role in the definition of requirements, and the digital components so to advance their environmental performance whist setting up a project user-centric orientation.

EcoShipYard responds to Regulation (EU) 2021/695 in advancing scientific knowledge and making use of insights and progress, to increase economic and societal impact.

The integration of Social Sciences & Humanity (SSH) will be supported by independent external experts from the field of Maritime, Policy, Shipbuilding (Scientific Review Committee). Project White Papers will strengthen inter-disciplinarity for the European R&I roadmap.
