The ESY 4th General Assembly, held online on 15 December 2025, marked the project’s 24-month milestone and was successfully conducted, providing a comprehensive overview of progress across all Work Packages and confirming strong alignment among partners as the EcoShipYard (ESY) project enters an intensive phase with many updates planned for the new year. The meeting reviewed key advancements in project management, dissemination and exploitation, environmental impact assessment, ship lifecycle processes, ESY platform development, and pilot deployment, highlighting concrete achievements such as the validation of the Material Passport, the definition of environmental KPIs, the integration and operational testing of the ESY platform, and the deployment of smart shipyard solutions. Constructive discussions enabled partners to assess performance against KPIs, address risks, and consolidate lessons learned. The consortium also agreed on clear next steps and strategic goals for the final project year, with a strong focus on two major upcoming milestones: ESY’s strong presence at Posidonia 2026 in Athens (3 June 2026) and the final project conference on 7–8 December 2026 at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, which will showcase EcoShipYard results, engage key stakeholders, and support the long-term impact and exploitation of project outcomes.
