Atlantec Enterprise Solutions GmbH (AES) is a software development company based in Hamburg with more than 25 years of experience in the development, application, and maintenance of sophisticated software systems for the maritime industry under the Topgallant^® brand. Speaking the language of the maritime industry, we generate solutions for shipbuilding, offshore and ship operation. Our products strongly focus on information management, digital twin technology, and data analytics. The core concept of our approach is the combination of holistic data integration, management and analysis technology, being applicable to the entire life cycle of maritime infrastructure, e.g. ships and offshore installations. Thus, we transfer experience gained from research projects to include the latest technologies in our development and to constantly create further improvements for our customers.

Since decades we are driven by the dangerous effects of global warming. Waterborne transport worldwide contributes with approx. 4% to GHG emissions, supplemented by the emissions generated during ship construction, maintenance, and disassembly. Reducing up to eliminating these emissions is our motivation in ESY and our contribution to mitigate climate change.

On the transition path to climate neutral maritime transport, we address in ESY sustainable ship production. During all stages of a new-building or retrofit project emissions will be analysed, predicted, and validated. The such gained transparency will lead to minimizing any emissions in follow-on projects along technical and economical guidance. In addition, we support establishing the material passport of ships by means of our profound data management competencies.
