The task involves the creation of a Living Lab for the EcoShipYard(ESY) project. It is designed to function as a dynamic and interactive hub that facilitates the testing and validation of innovative solutions aimed at supporting the circular economy and Green Deal initiatives. This cluster will provide both physical and virtual environments for stakeholders, including shipyards, technology providers, policymakers, and researchers, to collaborate closely. This collaborative platform is crucial for co-creating, testing, and refining solutions that enhance the environmental performance and economic viability of shipyards. Through committed operations up to 2030, the Living Lab will serve as a lighthouse project, continually adapting to technological and policy developments, thus maintaining the EcoShipYard(ESY)momentum post-project.
