The Smart, Sustainable & Green Shipbuilding 2026 – Keynote Speakers Event will take place on 3 June 2026 during Posidonia 2026 in Athens, Greece.
Under the message “Let’s transform TODAY the Green Maritime Industry of TOMORROW”, the event will bring together leading experts, maritime stakeholders, researchers, industry representatives and policy voices to discuss the future of sustainable shipbuilding and green maritime innovation.
The event will focus on the key trends, technologies and strategies shaping the transition towards smarter, greener and more resilient shipyards and vessels.

Building momentum towards the 2026 International Conference
This keynote event also marks an important step towards the International Conference on Smart, Sustainable & Green Shipbuilding, which will take place on 7–8 December 2026 at the University of Strathclyde, Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering, in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
The event is organised with the support of Circles of Life, Green Marine Europe, EcoShipYard, ECMAR, WEGEMT and associated stakeholders, bringing together expertise from across the European maritime innovation ecosystem.
