The 1st International Conference on Smart, Sustainable and Green Shipbuilding (SSGS 2026) will take place on 7–8 December 2026 at the Technology & Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland.
The conference is co-organised by the EcoShipYard (ESY) project, Circles of Life, and the University of Strathclyde, bringing together expertise from research, industry and academia to explore the future of shipbuilding through digitalisation, sustainability and industrial decarbonisation.
A Platform for Innovation and Collaboration
SSGS 2026 will bring together researchers, shipyards, technology providers, suppliers, policymakers and industry leaders to exchange knowledge, present innovative solutions and discuss practical pathways towards a smarter, more sustainable and greener shipbuilding industry.
