The ESY consortium convened for its 3rd General Assembly Meeting on the 19th and 20th of June 2025 in the coastal city of San Ġiljan (St. Julian’s), Malta. This in-person gathering brought together representatives from all project partners for two days of collaboration, review, and strategic alignment.
Reflecting on Progress and Planning Ahead
Day 1 was dedicated to internal project discussions, where the consortium assessed the overall progress of the project, shared updates, and engaged in open dialogue on current and upcoming activities. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on achievements, address ongoing challenges, and coordinate the next steps across all areas of the project.
A Collaborative Workshop with Stakeholders
On Day 2, the focus shifted toward engaging external audiences through the Mid-Term Progress Workshop, an important milestone in the ESY timeline. The session welcomed industry stakeholders and subject-matter experts, who joined the consortium in exploring technical developments and discussing their practical implications for the maritime sector. Topics covered included advancements in environmental performance, materials assessment, and the digital platform under development.
A Productive and Inspiring Gathering
The 3rd General Assembly reaffirmed the strong cooperation and shared vision among partners. The active participation of external stakeholders also underscored the relevance and potential impact of the project’s work. With fresh momentum and collective insight, the ESY team looks forward to delivering on the next set of objectives.
