The task involves the establishment of a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) to ensure the long-term sustainability and exploitation of the ECOSHIPYARD (ESY) project outcomes. It entails the completion of a comprehensive market analysis to determine the current state of the art and establish potential opportunities, in addition to preparing a business plan for the EEIG. This plan will outline the strategic objectives, governance arrangements, financial approaches, and risk management systems necessary to secure successful collaboration. To support these activities, legal and financial professionals will be employed, guaranteeing the EEIG’s compliance with EU law and fostering innovation in green shipbuilding. Furthermore, the EEIG will allow partners to share resources, exchange information, and collaborate on new technologies, thereby meeting sustainability objectives and staying pertinent until 2030.
